Alex Rocco – 1936 – an American actor, best known for his role as a character of Moe Greene in the classic film “The Godfather.” He also appeared in a number of other notable films, including “The Friends of Eddie Coyle,” “Get Shorty” and “That Thing You Do!”

Phyllis Frelich – 1944 – an American actress. She was deaf and her work as an actress was notable for her use of Sign Language. Frelich’s most famous role was in the Broadway production of “Children of a Lesser God,” for which she won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play. She also appeared in a number of films, including “Love is Never Silent,” “The Doctor” and “Sweet Nothing in My Ear.”
Susan Sennett – 1952 – an American actress best known for her role in the film “Big Bad Mama.” Sennett also appeared in other films such as “Black Eye” and “The Elevator,” as well as on television shows “The Rockford Files” and “The Blue Knight.”
Tony Robbins – 1960 – an American author, speaker and life coach. He is known for his motivational speeches and his bestselling books, including “Awaken the Giant Within” and “Unlimited Power.” Robbins has worked with a wide range of clients, including politicians, celebrities, and business leaders, to help them achieve their goals and improve their lives.
Antonio Sabato Jr – 1972 – an Italian-American actor. His notable film roles include Jagger Cates on the soap opera “General Hospital”, Dante Damiano on the soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful” and Jack Parezi on the TV series “Melrose Place”.
Ja Rule – 1976 – an American singer. He has released several successful albums, including “Rule 3:36” and “Pain Is Love”. In addition to his music career, Ja Rule has also appeared in a number of films, including “The Fast and the Furious” and “Half Past Dead.”
What happened in history on February 29th?
1940 – “Gone With The Wind” won eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress for Vivien Leigh. The film was directed by Victor Fleming and starred Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O’Hara and Clark Gable as Rhett Butler.
1940 – Hattie McDaniel won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, for her performance as Mammy in the film “Gone with the Wind”, making her the first African American to win an Oscar.
1960 – The first Playboy Club opened in Chicago, Illinois. The club was a members-only establishment that featured waitresses dressed in revealing costumes known as “Bunny suits”.
1968 – The Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” album won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. The album is considered one of the most influential and iconic albums in the history of popular music.
